COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF TRUMP LIBERATES WASHINGTON DC

President Donald Trump has declared “Liberation Day in DC” and seized federal control of the city’s police while deploying the National Guard to restore law and order.

Historic Federal Takeover of Democrat-Failed City

“This is Liberation Day in D.C., and we’re going to take our capital back,” Trump declared at the White House. “We’re taking it back under the authorities vested in me as the President of the United States. I’m officially invoking Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, you know what that is, and placing the DC Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control.”

“In addition, I’m deploying the National Guard to help reestablish law and order of public safety in Washington, D.C., and they’re going to be allowed to do their job properly,” he continued. White House officials say Trump will mobilize roughly 800 troops to assist the MPD with logistics, transportation, and guarding federal and law enforcement facilities, with the authority to detain suspects until local law enforcement officials arrive.

Trump Ends Democrat Nightmare in Nation’s Capital

“Our capital city has been overtaken by violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged out maniacs and homeless people,” Trump told reporters at a press conference, flanked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Attorney General Pam Bondi. “We’re not going to let it happen anymore, we’re not going to take it.”

“Washington, D.C. will be LIBERATED today! Crime, Savagery, Filth, and Scum will DISAPPEAR. I will, MAKE OUR CAPITAL GREAT AGAIN! The days of ruthlessly killing, or hurting, innocent people, are OVER!” Trump posted on Truth Social, perfectly capturing his determination to rescue America’s capital from Democrat mismanagement.

Attorney General Bondi Takes Command

Trump announced that Attorney General Pam Bondi will be taking command of the Metropolitan Police Department and DEA Administrator Terry Cole will be interim federal commissioner of the department. This ensures that real law enforcement professionals, not weak Democrat politicians, will be in charge of protecting the capital.

About 500 federal law enforcement officers are being tasked with deploying throughout the nation’s capital as part of the Trump administration’s effort to combat crime. More than 100 FBI agents and about 40 agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are among federal law enforcement personnel being assigned to patrols in Washington. The Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Marshals Service are also contributing officers.

Homeless Encampments Being Eliminated

“We’re going to be removing homeless encampments from all over our parks, our beautiful, beautiful parks, which now a lot of people can’t walk on,” Trump said. “They’ve been very, very dirty, very — got a lot of problems. But we’ve already started that. We’re moving the encampments away, trying to take care of people. Some of those people, we don’t know how they even got there. And some of those people are from different countries, different parts of the world.”

Military Force Available If Needed

“You’re going to have a lot of essentially military, and we will bring in the military if it’s needed,” Trump added, showing that he will use whatever force is necessary to protect American citizens from the chaos that Democrats have allowed to flourish.

Trump’s memorandum directs Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to mobilize the D.C. National Guard “until law and order is restored.” It also directs Hegseth to coordinate with state governors “and authorize the orders of any additional National Guard units as needed.”

Blueprint for Saving America’s Cities

“Other cities are hopefully watching this,” Trump said, indicating that he might impose his crime-fighting and “beautification” plans in large Democratic-run cities. This sends a clear message to failed Democrat mayors in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and other crime-ridden cities: clean up your act or face federal intervention.

Trump compared crime in the American capital with that in other major cities, saying Washington performs poorly on safety relative to the capitals of Iraq, Brazil and Colombia, among others. “We’re getting rid of the slums, too,” Trump said, adding that the U.S. would not lose its cities and that Washington was just a start.
