New Mexico state authorities have begun a major search operation at Jeffrey Epstein’s former Zorro Ranch property. They are looking for the remains of two young foreign girls reportedly strangled and buried there.

The search started on March 9 and 10 of 2026. It involves state police, K-9 units, and other investigative tools at the 7600-acre ranch near Stanley, New Mexico.

The tipster mentioned Ghislaine Maxwell’s involvement. They offered videos as proof in exchange for one bitcoin.

The email went to local radio host Eddy Aragon. Aragon passed it to authorities because it seemed credible enough to investigate.

Federal agencies under previous administrations never followed up. They left the ranch unsearched despite raids on Epstein’s other properties.

This ranch was the site of serious allegations. Victims and witnesses described sex trafficking and abuse of underage girls there.

The ranch includes a large 33000-square-foot mansion. It also has strange garden mazes that have been dug up in recent years.

The property was sold in 2023 to the family of former Texas state senator Don Huffines. The new owners cooperated fully with the current search.

Huffines plans to turn the land into a Christian retreat. Proceeds from the sale went toward helping Epstein’s victims.

Conservatives have long pointed out the lack of federal action. Many believe powerful figures tied to Democrats received protection.

Bill Clinton’s multiple flights on Epstein’s plane remain well documented. Yet no serious federal probe targeted the New Mexico site until now.

The 2019 tip described rough sex sessions that turned deadly. It named Epstein and Maxwell as giving orders for the strangulations.

Aragon has called the ranch macabre and strange for years. He believes more secrets could surface from this investigation.

State officials reopened the case in February 2026. This followed the release of more Epstein-related documents under new transparency laws.

Attorney General Torrez thanked the current owners for access. He asked the public to avoid the area and not fly drones overhead.

The Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office is assisting. New Mexico’s bipartisan Epstein Truth Commission is also involved.

If remains are found, it would confirm long-standing suspicions. It would show the depth of the cover-up at federal levels.

The search uses ground-penetrating radar in some areas. Teams are combing the hills where the tip claimed burials occurred.
