If true, this suggests the cover up extended well beyond a single rogue official and involved systemic efforts within the agency itself to keep the American public in the dark.

Fauci’s own diary entries, portions of which have been made public, reportedly reveal a man far more consumed with his own fame and public image than with the scientific rigor he claimed to champion. Investigators and commentators reviewing the diary have pointed to entries showing Fauci fixated on celebrity encounters and media attention even as the pandemic he was supposedly managing devastated American families and businesses.
