Dan Bongino appeared on Laura Ingraham’s show and made clear where he stands on the criticism of President Trump’s language. Bongino said he does not care that Trump uses profanity. He pointed out that Trump delivers results.

The comments came after Trump’s Easter Sunday Truth Social post about Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. In that post, Trump used strong language, including the word “fuckin,” when telling Iran to reopen the strait or face serious consequences. He also included the line “Praise be to Allah” at the end.

Some voices, including Tucker Carlson, raised concerns about the tone and the religious phrasing. They called it mocking or unpresidential. Bongino pushed back directly on The Ingraham Angle.

Bongino noted that Trump is not like the Washington insiders. He said Trump has actual results. Bongino added that he is not going to get upset over a Truth Social post with strong language. He stated it is a free country and people can care about it if they want.

Bongino went further. He said, “I don’t give a damn about Donald Trump and cursing, and I don’t think anyone else does either.” His point was simple: focus on what matters most.

Trump’s post warned Iran that Tuesday would be “power plant day” and “bridge day” if the strait stayed closed. The message followed Iran’s decision to block the waterway that carries about 20 percent of the world’s daily oil supply. That move threatened higher gas prices and supply problems for American families.

The blunt approach worked. Iran soon agreed to a two-week ceasefire and began reopening the strait. Oil markets started to calm. No new American troops were sent into conflict.

Bongino’s comments fit a common view among many Trump supporters. They care more about outcomes than polished words. During Trump’s first term, sanctions and pressure kept Iran in check without starting new wars. The current situation followed a period of weaker policies that led to more attacks and the strait closure.

Ingraham discussed the difference between Trump’s language and Democrats who have increased their own use of profanity on social media. She noted that some on the left now try to copy Trump’s direct style but lack the results to back it up.

The contrast is clear. Trump’s strong message led to a ceasefire and movement on the strait. Critics focused on tone while the policy goal of safe, open shipping lanes moved forward.

Bongino has made similar points before. He often argues that voters chose Trump because of his willingness to speak plainly and get things done. They did not elect him to follow traditional Washington rules of speech.

The Iran situation showed the same pattern Trump has used in past negotiations. He took a maximalist position with clear warnings. He then secured baseline goals, including the ceasefire and progress on reopening the strait, without blanket sanctions relief or Iranian control of the waterway.

White House officials confirmed that Iran’s first ten-point plan was rejected as unserious. A modified version became the starting point for talks. Trump has held firm against full sanctions lifting or letting Iran dominate the strait.

Bongino’s defense highlights a split in some conservative circles. A few voices worry about tone or escalation risks. Others, like Bongino, say judge the leader by the results, not the wording.

The results so far include lower immediate pressure on energy prices and a pause in hostilities. American families benefit from stable gas prices. Allies see renewed American resolve.

Trump has faced criticism from parts of the right and the left over his communication style for years. Supporters reply that the same direct approach helped secure trade deals, border security measures, and pressure on adversaries during his first term.

Bongino reminded viewers that Trump operates differently from career politicians. He does not soften messages to please media or institutional voices. That difference is why many voters support him.

The Easter timing drew extra attention. Trump sent the message on a major Christian holiday. Some saw it as inappropriate. Others saw it as a leader addressing a real threat without delay.

The threat was serious. Closing the Strait of Hormuz affects global oil flows and hits American economic interests. Trump’s response made clear that such actions would not be tolerated.
