California Governor Gavin Newsom announced this week that he and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, are the subjects of active federal investigations being run out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California in Sacramento.
Newsom broke the news himself in a video posted to social media on Monday, framing the probes as a political hit job ordered by President Trump in retaliation for his criticism of the administration and his possible 2028 presidential ambitions. Read more →
Newly declassified intelligence documents released this month by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard have confirmed that United States-funded laboratories in Ukraine worked with and stored dangerous pathogens, including anthrax and plague, along with Ebola, tuberculosis, and several other high-consequence diseases.

The criminal complaint, unsealed in federal court in Detroit on June 2, 2026, names Vincent Munster, a 53-year-old Dutch national who serves as the Chief of the Virus Ecology Section at NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana. Read more →
Outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released a tranche of formerly classified documents on June 12 that confirm the United States government has been funding more than 120 biological laboratories in over 30 countries around the world, including more than 40 laboratories and health sites in Ukraine.
The disclosure, described by Gabbard’s office as the product of months of searching through intelligence community holdings and files, reveals a global biological research infrastructure funded by American taxpayers that had been, in the words of the DNI press release, knowingly withheld from the American people. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has reportedly told associates that he has accumulated enough evidence to convince any jury in America, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the Central Intelligence Agency was responsible for the assassination of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy.
The claim, circulated by the Leading Report on June 13 and amplified across conservative media, adds fresh urgency to a controversy that has never fully quieted since Kennedy was shot in Dallas on November 22, 1963. Read more →
Jeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark stepped forward this week to publicly and unequivocally reject the authenticity of the purported suicide note that a federal judge unsealed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, after it had been locked inside a New York courthouse vault for nearly seven years.
Mark Epstein, 71, told Business Insider that the handwritten document, which his brother’s former cellmate claims to have discovered in a graphic novel following a July 2019 suicide attempt, is a fabrication designed to prop up the official ruling that his brother died by his own hand. Read more →
