Sean “Diddy” Combs, already behind bars and fighting a federal conviction, is facing yet another explosive allegation of sexual misconduct.

A new lawsuit filed this week in California accuses the disgraced music mogul of sexually assaulting a former child actor at a networking event in the Hollywood Hills in May 2007.

The accusation adds another dark chapter to a legal saga that has consumed one of the most prominent figures in American entertainment.

The anonymous male plaintiff, identified only as John Doe, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court.

According to the complaint, Combs approached the child actor at the networking event and told him he wanted to speak with him privately about potential opportunities, saying he would be a good candidate for an upcoming project.

The use of a professional lure to isolate the minor is a pattern that has appeared repeatedly across multiple lawsuits filed against Combs.

Once the two were alone in a back room, Combs allegedly offered the minor an alcoholic beverage and made small talk before initiating physical contact.

The complaint alleges Combs then began rubbing the child’s arm before the assault escalated.

The lawsuit describes the conduct as outrageous, intended to cause emotional distress, and so extreme as to go beyond the bounds of decency tolerable by a civilized society.

This is not the first time Combs has been accused of targeting a minor.

He has previously faced lawsuits from plaintiffs who alleged they were teenagers at the time of their alleged assaults, with at least one accuser claiming he was just 10 years old when the assault occurred.

Multiple accusers across various lawsuits have alleged they were targeted at auditions and business events, a setting where access to young, aspiring performers would have been readily available.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

He was convicted in July 2025 on two federal counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

His attorneys have continued fighting the conviction on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals, and Combs is currently set to be released in 2028 if no further legal complications delay that timeline.

A spokesperson for Combs denied the new allegations flatly.

“Mr. Combs unequivocally denies these allegations. This complaint describes events that allegedly occurred nearly twenty years ago and is based solely on the plaintiff’s account. We will review the complaint carefully and respond through the appropriate legal process. We are confident that the facts will demonstrate these claims are without merit,” spokesperson Juda Engelmayer stated.

Combs’ legal team has previously stated that he cannot address every allegation in what they have called a media circus, and they have categorically denied all accusations as false and defamatory.

His attorneys have further argued that some of the alleged conduct surrounding his case, including the arrangement of extended private sex parties referred to as “freak-offs,” should have been protected as the activities of an amateur pornography producer.

That argument found little traction in court.

The civil lawsuit arrives as the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is separately reviewing a potential criminal sexual assault case against Combs.

A spokesperson for District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed that in the fall of 2025, both the LAPD and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department each presented a separate sexual assault investigation involving one victim to the DA’s office, which is actively determining whether the cases are strong enough to pursue charges.

The sprawling legal troubles surrounding Combs trace their public origins to 2023, when his former girlfriend, singer Cassandra Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, physical violence, and years of emotional abuse.

That case opened the floodgates. Since then, dozens of civil suits have piled up against him from accusers across different years and circumstances, eventually drawing federal investigators into a criminal probe.

The sheer volume of accusations now spanning decades, across different states, involving minors and adults alike, and alleging a consistent methodology of using professional enticement to isolate victims, presents a portrait that the civil courts are still working to fully examine.
